  It’s time for your Rawkode Live update. I’ve started highlighting metrics, and this will remain to in future editions, for people to skim. I’m too nice, I know.

  This Week

  This week there were 3 live streams:

  • Spinning Up Equinix Metal with DevRel Marketing 🏆
  • Introduction to Grafana with Marcus Olsson (Grafana Labs)
  • Introduction to Falco with Leo DiDonato (Sysdig) and Lorenzo Fontana (Sysdig)

  In the last 7 days:

  • 44 (vs 34) new subscribers, totalling 355.
  • 1000 (vs 821) views of content, totalling 6.4k.
  • 145 (vs 145) hours of content viewed, totalling 856.2.
  • 9.3k (vs 7k) impressions of my content on YouTube search, 14% (vs 23%) of this from YouTube recommendations with, with a 2.8% (vs 2.4%) conversion

  Numbers are still increasing, week on week; but linearly and slowly. Will be looking at this with Jeremy and Thom, to identify opportunities and avenues for further promotion of the content.

  These stats are obviously our vanity metrics; there serve nothing more than a pulse for the work that we’re doing with the stream is being received by our audience. In the DevRel Marketing team, we refer to this as our Awareness Initiative.

  New integrations and other tooling we’ve made with you in mind

  Integrations

  Our Terraform provider is now published on Terraform Registry which means it now meets uniform Terraform standards and is more easily findable.

  Our VMware Terraform guide is being updated to simplify the installation for the VMware NSX (Networking) components so it’s easier to deploy VMware Tanzu from scratch.

  We now have an Automated Anthos Installation via Terraform which is one of our Maintained repos.

• Community Relaunch Events

  Come celebrate all the excitement of our community relaunch with Equinix Metal! We’re planning weekly fun events (watch out for the Halloween themed one…)!

  Every Monday, we’ll make an announcement in the Equinix Metal Community Slack with the goals for the week. At the end of the week, we’ll give a short report on the week’s activity. If you’d like to suggest a week’s theme, message @Mo.Metal and / or @Rain.Metal at any time.

  Feedback Week

  2020-10-12 This week we’re asking for your thoughts / ideas / feedback ranging from a new integration, a new feature, or even a new data center (IBX).
